Lyudmila Vasylenko, President of the AIL Association, spoke about her trip on July 8-9 to the Faculty of Chemistry of the Brno University of Technology to the representatives of the Czech side of the consortium, who, together with the AIL Association, won the multi-year project “Improving the monitoring of the state of agricultural land affected by military operations” (Project G6296) by “The NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme” (SPS program).
She described in detail all the speeches of those present at the kick-off meeting. From the management of the SPS program – these are the speeches of Mr. Richard Brewin and Mrs.Klavdija Roepke. From representatives of Brno University of Technology, these are the speeches of Miloslav Pekař and Eva Maršalová.
She emphasized the important role of NATO in ensuring security in the world and the honor of winning a grant agreement with NATO for the AIL Association. She described the requirements that should be met during the implementation of the project to maintain the authority of the Association among international partners.

Mykhailo Ksenofontov, Vice-President of the AIL Association for Project Work, described the current socio-political situation in Ukraine, in particular, focused on the threat of the situation with agricultural lands affected by hostilities. In the long run, this creates problems with the production of agricultural products and ensuring their proper environmental safety. He emphasized the relevance of monitoring these processes and determining ways to restore them, which is what the project of the consortium consisting of Brno University of Technology from the Czech Republic and the Association of Innovation Laboratories is aimed at. He stressed the importance of NATO’s assistance in these matters.

Yulia Chornoivan, the head of the PrimeLabTech laboratory, is a member of the AIL Association. She emphasized the importance of applying a systematic approach in the implementation of the project, which will be facilitated by cooperation with Czech scientists and the use of their experience in the analysis of soil organic matter. This will ensure the complexity of laboratory analyses for the development of more reasonable measures for the restoration of agricultural land.
Onishchenko Konstantin, stipendiat of the project, marketing manager, on-line participation, emphasized the importance of studying legislative norms and methodological approaches to assessing the quality of soils and agricultural products of the European Union. He emphasized the expediency of studying social media marketing tools and ways of marketing laboratory services to agricultural producers for soil restoration, which will lay the foundations for the long-term work of the Association in the market laboratory services.

Halyna Sumarokova, Laboratory engineer, stipendiat of the project, focused on the methodological components of laboratory analysis of soil samples. She proposed the use of chemical (titrimetry, gravimetry) methods of analysis of substances of organic and inorganic nature of the soil to analyze the level of damage to agricultural land under the project program.

Valentyna Babich, Quality Manager of the AIL Association, focused on the importance of proper execution of contractual relations. She emphasized that at the first stage of the project, the task is to properly formalize the purchase of a robotic analyzer SP2000-3 to determine the clay fraction of the soil produced by Skalar (according to Robinson-Kohn, ISO 11277) and to properly execute documents for creating a project website and shooting a video about the project.

Elizaveta Litovchenko, laboratory engineer, spoke about the methodology for analyzing the particle size distribution of agricultural lands affected by hostilities. She emphasized the differences in laboratory research based on the use of the SP2000-3 robotic analyzer from Skalar and other equipment. She emphasized that the purchase of SP2000-3 is a significant innovative way that will significantly improve the quality of laboratory research and provide savings reagents.

Nazar Lishchun, laboratory technician, spoke about the methodological components of laboratory analytical work, in particular, about the peculiarities of soil sample preparation, which is the basis for obtaining high-quality test results.
